Cancer survivors are at increased risk for abnormal heart function and heart arrhythmias due to chemotherapy and chest radiation exposure. Working with MUSC pediatric cancer specialists in the Follow-up After Cancer Treatment (FACT) Program, patients are assessed for long-term post-chemotherapy cardiac effects and followed as long as they need care.
