The MUSC Children’s Health Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center provides complete evaluation and care of arrhythmias in the inpatient and outpatient setting for fetus, infant, child, adolescent and adults born with congenital heart disease.
We see patients in Charleston, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and Okatie.
Our center provides thorough exams and full management and treatment of heart rate and rhythm disorders. We have two electrophysiology labs that provide complete diagnostic studies and therapeutic interventions. We also perform implantation of implantable cardiac rhythm devices with continuous monitoring of more than 300 children.
Our highly trained staff uses state-of-the-art equipment and offers the entire range of cardiac diagnostic tests, including:
- Standard electrocardiograms
- 24-hour, 14-day ambulatory holter monitors
- Remote telemetry
- 30-day event monitoring
- Exercise stress testing
- At home monitoring of implantable cardiac devices
