MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital is South Carolina’s only children’s hospital recognized by U.S. News & World Report — earning national rankings in eight specialties: Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Cancer, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Nephrology, Orthopaedics, Pediatric & Adolescent Behavioral Health, Pulmonology & Lung Surgery, and Urology.

In addition, our hospital is verified as a Level I Children’s Surgery Center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the highest distinction for pediatric surgical care. These honors reflect our commitment to providing every child and family with the safest, most advanced, and most compassionate care possible.
