Guidelines for Donating to MUSC Children's Health

Below are guidelines and wish lists for those interested in donating items to support pediatric patients and families at MUSC Children’s Health. Thank you!

Important guidelines we ask you to follow when donating:

  • Our patients range in age from newborn to teens. Please consider all ages when gifting.
  • All items must be brand new, unwrapped, and in original packaging. We are unable to accept any type of paper cards, large stuffed animals, scooters, skateboards, any size bicycle, or oversized items.
  • Religious, political, violent or controversial themed items cannot be accepted.
  • The MUSC wish list and Amazon registry indicate most needed items at this time.
  • As donors do not visit inpatient units and rooms, Child Life staff will ensure delivery to patients.

Ways to Donate

For contactless and virtual donations, an online gift registry is available. We are asking donors to use this option to select and send your gifts. This eliminates in-person shopping and the need to deliver directly to us. The wish list reflects our greatest needs and preferred gifts. The shipping address is on file with the registry. Please allow ample time for delivery.
