Holiday Donation Guidelines

Important guidelines we ask you to follow when donating:

• Our patients range in age from newborn to teens. Please consider all ages when gifting.
• All items must be brand new, unwrapped, and in original packaging.
• We are unable to accept food, large stuffed animals, paper greeting cards or handmade cards, scooters, skateboards, bicycles, or any oversized items.
• Items should be respectful of all religions, cultures, and belief systems.
• The MUSC wish lists indicate the most needed items.
• All donated items will be distributed by hospital care team members.
• If interested in providing an item not found on the wish list or registry, please email mishler@musc.edu.

Ways to Give

Option 1: Drop-Off Items at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital

Please use the wish list (below) and registries as a guide for item selection. Drive-up donation drop-offs are available at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s hospital at the below dates and times. Volunteers will be available to help unload items.

Drop-Off Dates

December 12, Friday — 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
December 13, Saturday — 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
December 17, Wednesday — 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
December 18, Thursday — 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
December 20, Saturday — 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
December 21, Sunday — 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

These are our only donation times. All donation drop-offs will take place outside the main entrance.

Option 2: Shop Online & Ship Items

For contactless and virtual donations, an online gift registry is available. We are asking donors to use these options to select and send your holiday gifts. The wish lists and Amazon registry reflect our greatest needs and preferred gifts. The shipping address is on file with the Amazon registry. Please allow ample time for delivery.
